John aims to end the game amidst a slew of deadly friends, enemies, and frenemies.
Reasons to watch:
The desire to be taken seriously by attempting to add emotional depth to what has never been anything more than surface-level storytelling only serves to bog the movie down with nearly three hours of material, but the highly memorable characters, action, and cinematography make this slightly bloated action thriller epic worth the extended ride. Moreover, going four movies deep into an action franchise and continuously outdoing itself in filmmaking quality is worth commemoration alone.
