That Uncertain Feeling (1941)

"This vase insults me. It's ugly. Let's put it away."

Directed by: Ernst Lubitsch
Cinematography by: George Barnes
Country: United States
Genre: Comedy

Plot:
A married woman who feels neglected by her keeks-ing husband falls in love with a neurotic pianist she meets at her new psychoanalyst's office, kicking off a battle of the sexes between husband and wife and a combative love pyramid between husband and pianist.

Reasons to watch:
The charmingly expressive performances from Merle Oberon as Jill Baker, the unsatisfied housewife, and Burgess Meredith as Alexander Sebastian, the misanthropic capital-H Hater pianist, make for a fun watch in this farcical screwball comedy - especially when paired with the witty, face-paced dialogue.
