Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)

"I understand what you're saying, and your comments are valuable, but I'm going to ignore your advice."
Directed by: Wes Anderson
Cinematography by: Tristan Oliver
Country: United Kingdom/United States
Plot:
A reformed - though still self-serving - family-man fox gets a-hankerin’ for the thievin’ days of his youth and starts a war with three crooked industrialist farmers in this Roald Dahl adaptation.
Reasons to watch:
Whether or not Wes Anderson’s abundance of whimsy and quirk appeals to you, Fantastic Mr. Fox all but cemented him as one of the most talented and distinct filmmakers in contemporary cinema and kicked off a masterful run that the acclaimed director is still riding with no signs of slowing down. Although I occasionally find his writing to be grating, it’s hard not to love anything this witty and emphatically playful. A stellar offbeat animated family comedy-adventure worthy of its title.
