Plot:
The mostly sad, somewhat surreal adventures of a donkey separated from its
loving owner at the circus.
Reasons to watch:
Alternating between dreamlike and
nightmarish, emotional subjectivity and detached objectivity, Jerzy Skolimowski
proves that at 85 years old, he still hasn’t lost his edge, immersing the viewer
in his evocative impressionism, painterly compositions, and innovative visual
sequences. And if that’s not enough for you, EO also features a really cute
ass.
