Survivor: Micronesia (Fans vs. Favorites) [Season 16]
-Episode: 11-13
What's going on: Sweet jiminy crickets, the black widow alliance is ruthless and these boys are dumber than a box of rocks. Every time I think I've seen the dumbest move in Survivor history, the floor gets dropped out from under me, and I land on something even dumber - just mind-bogglingly dense. Truly a must-watch season.

-Current short story: "Delusion for a Dragon Slayer" [Finished]
Plot: An ambitionless man is killed in a freak accident and must prove himself worthy of a place in heaven by righteously living out his dreams in a fantasy world.
Thoughts: One of the more satisfying stories in the collection. Very trippy. For all of his wordy penmanship and strange details, Ellison's stories never do anything too unpredictable though.
Memorable lines: "In a rising, keening spiral of hysteria they came, first pulsing in primaries, then secondaries, the comminglings and off-shades, and finally in colors that had no names. Colors like racing, and pungent, and far seen shadows, and bitterness, and something that hurt, and something that pleasured. Oh, mostly the pleasures, one after another, singing, lulling, hypnotically arresting the eye as the ship sped into the heart of the maelstrom of weird, advancing, sky-eating colors. The siren colors of the straits."
