The 2010's Top Ten Horror Directorial Debuts

The most noteworthy debuts behind the camera in a stellar decade for the horror genre.

I've previously mentioned the artistic resurgence of the horror genre during the last decade and the many exceptional directorial debuts that anchored it. Since I’ve already done posts on most of these debuts (and will be getting to the others at some point), I thought I’d put out a swell old list of what I think are the top 10 best feature debuts the genre saw during the 2010s. It’s a thrilling time to be a genre fan and hopefully these filmmakers will keep the train rolling. And at some point I’m planning on doing a series on the sophomore films of these directors as well to see how they match up to their debuts.
