A chill song off of Aiko's recent album Trip. She teams up with Big Sean on this one under the musical duo moniker TWENTY88. I really enjoy throwing this on when I'm driving around at night. Produced by Amaire Johnson.
An epic, nearly seven minute pulsating dance track that just gets better and better as the song goes on. I've never heard of any of these kids before but I'm really excited to hear more. Produced by Kompetition.
An older song off of Chicago rapper Saba's 2016 Bucket List Project. It recently came on my Spotify and it's undeniably catchy, and a lot of fun. You may recognize Saba's name from his feature on Chance the Rapper's "Angels." Stoney is self-produced by Saba and Phoelix.
I don't know much about dvsn, other than they're a musical duo signed to Drake's OVO Sound record label. This song off of their recent album Morning After is dope though. I love the sample. Produced by Nineteen85: one half of the dvsn duo, and longtime Drake producer.
I heard this beautiful, cinematic song in the 2017 drama A Ghost Story, and it absolutely destroyed me. Both the song and the genre-defying film blew me away. So far it has been my favorite song of the year and a top 3 movie of the year for me, along with Get Out and Blade Runner 2049.
